We wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for photographing Finn's christening. It was a real pleasure having you capture the day. You made the whole experience, before and on the day enjoyable. On the day you made us, and our guests, feel very relaxed and this can be seen in the photos, even when we asked you to capture a photo we hadn't mentioned before you were more than happy to do it and it turned out perfectly. Most importantly we are over the moon with the photos, which have come out brilliantly, you have been able to capture special moments of the day. Receiving all the photos on a memory stick and so quickly after the christening, was great. We have been able to share and print them easily.

Jim was fantastic to work with and made a huge effort to accommodate all of our requests. We were pretty particular about the fact that we wanted our photographs to be quite informal. Jim was very patient with us and made sure he still got some great shots, in spite of our reluctance to spend any time posing. He also managed to blend right into the wedding party, and captured some great shots of our guests (many of whom commented on what a lovely guy he was). Really couldn't recommend Jim more.

Jim photographed our wedding this summer and we couldn't be happier with the pictures as well as the warm, friendly and personal attention we received from our first meeting to the final photo DVD. Throughout the process Jim was extremely professional and helpful - both our venue manager and minister were blown away when he showed up to check out the locations before hand!! Communication between ourselves and Jim through emails, phone calls and texts were always promptly received and replied to and we always felt in the loop. Jim made us feel comfortable from the beginning involving us in his plans and listening to our ideas and thoughts. Every detail was taken care of from day one which made photographs on the day a great experience. We have had so many of our guests commenting on how great Jim was both in the quality of shots and his approach and manner. He skillfully managed 'would be photographer' guests and has captured our wedding day the way we had hoped to remember it. After the event Jim worked so hard to touch up and fix up photographs for us and we were so impressed with the speed and quality when we received our first uncut round of photographs. Jim was speedy with the final DVD draft as well keeping the same high quality and tasteful presentation throughout. We really cannot say enough good things about having Jim as our photographer, we would strongly recommend him to any and all - a pleasure from the beginning to the end.

When we met with you to discuss our plans you were so enthusiastic - you had all these ideas and suggestions about how to make our pictures unique. We loved your request for pictures of our VIP guests so that you could identify how they liked to be addressed and memorise this - all to make people feel relaxed as you worked. We also appreciated you taking the time to visit the venue a few weeks beforehand - it was clear on the day when you guided us around the grounds and afterwards when we saw the photos - that you had done of lot of preparation.
On the day itself, you really excelled at getting the best from all our guests, everyone responded to your directions because they were clear, quick and delivered with humour. It’s not an exaggeration to say that it felt like a family member taking the photos, everyone remarked on your friendly persona. No one really likes getting their photo taken but when the photographer is as charismatic as you it’s a much less painful process.
The photos you took of Julia and I are superb.
You recognised that after it’s all over, it is the wedding photographs that provoke the shared memories and we look forward to sharing ours with family and friends.
